Visit Kohl's website and scroll to the bottom of the page, where it says "Give us your e-mail address for more savings!" I hope you took my tip about setting up a GMX email...
Sign up for the Kohl's newsletter and within 10 days they will send you a coupon for $5 off a $5 purchase. You can do this with multiple emails and get multiple coupons, and then just delete the extra GMX emails and create new ones for more coupons.
It's pretty easy to find things for around $5 at Kohl's. Some things I have gotten in the last few weeks: A shirt, 2 picture frames, a washcloth, a spoon rest, and some socks. Check out the clearance areas throughout the store, as well as what's on sale. These coupons CAN be combined with other Kohl's offers, so keep your eye out for any % off printable coupons you may get, or just search the internet for them. First they will take the $5 off, then apply any percent-off discount.
Every store is a little different with how they allow you to use the coupons, but to avoid problems, only use one per purchase and go back multiple times if you want to use multiple coupons. Most Kohl's have at least two different register areas; you could use one coupon at each area. Bring friends and family and make them each use a coupon too!
